About Us

About Us

Aid2Africa is a 501c3 Charitable Organization that aspires to alleviate the plight of the poor and downtrodden in Africa, a continent endowed with immense natural and human resources, yet grossly underdeveloped. A good number of African nations suffer from military dictatorships, corruption, civil unrest, war, underdevelopment and deep poverty. Many of the countries classified by the UN as least developed are in Africa. Numerous developmental strategies have failed to yield the expected results. Despite the belief of some that the continent is doomed to perpetual poverty and economic slavery, Africa has immense potentials.

Aid2Africa strives to bring a more proactive and pragmatic solution to some of the problems that are most prevalent in Africa by implementing projects that will best improve the living conditions of Africans.

We seek out world changers and difference makers around the globe, and equip them to fulfill their unique purpose.

Numerous localities in Africa need development and humanitarian aid. Aid to Africa is needed now to support its economic, environmental and social development.

Africa is indeed in dire need of assistance with things considered common place and taken for granted in the western world – power supply, medical facilities, education, clean drinking water, good food, youth employment etc.

We seek out philanthropists, world changers and difference makers, willing to help in alleviating the situation in Africa and break the cycle of crisis and poverty.

Community/Welfare and Healthcare Development – Afromedica Initiative

In the estimation of the World Health Organization, every minute a child dies from malaria in Africa. Nine out of 10 malaria deaths occur on the African continent, with 78 percent of deaths occurring in children under five. Despite a significant reduction in cases and deaths over the past decade as result of increased investment, intervention  and awareness (malaria mortality rates have fallen by 54 percent in the region), malaria still  remains one of the biggest killers, with more than 500,000 deaths in 2013 alone.

Other common killers of children under five include pneumonia and diarrhea, which also account for a large portion of childhood illnesses and deaths. Malnutrition often serves as a major contributing factor for poor health outcomes within the region. At current global child mortality rates, it is estimated that 17,000 young children die every day from hunger-related causes – with almost half of these deaths occurring in sub-Saharan Africa.

Children remain the highest number of victims who suffer from illness and most often forced out of school, damaging prospects as well as the economic health of the continent. The high disease burden also significantly contributes to high out of pocket health expenditures by households, many of which live on less than a dollar a day.  Aid2Africa stands to provide lasting impact and positive influence in promoting healthcare delivery in the continent through its Afromedica initiative.

We believe that in every community, there are individuals with untapped potential ready to make their community a better place.

Our organization helps people in Africa get the second chance, start a new life, find new friends and a job.

This charity organization does what a lot of other charities should have been doing years ago. It is great that Aid2Africa exists. Their volunteers not just give necessary resources and assistance, they give hope to all the needy out there.

Emeka Bosah

An Aid2Africa donor

The Aid2Africa Program for community healthcare development covers the entire African continent. I am glad that my donation was used in targeting rural communities that have no access to health care delivery and for providing anti-malaria drugs, mosquito nets, and female hygiene items. We greatly appreciate what they are doing in the Continent of Africa.
